Thanks.
I'm not motivated to get the PITA trims off at present so I''ve taken the mats out to dry and am leaving the windows open as much as possible to dry the interior. Not ideal weather, but at least it's not raining.

I needed to make a short (7 miles or so) journey today on twisty roads so I took the S8 and did a lot of rapid acceleration on tight uphill corners which seems to have emptied plenty of (clean) water out of the system onto the floor (and feet).
(where it goes then isn't obvious...)

Not using the car much at present, but when I do it will be on "Economy" ventilation so hopefully no more water will accumulate and it should slowly dry out. If it does build up again then another "test run" as above will highlight that; I hope not as then I'll be looking for other sources than the aircon and drain from that.
