[arnie voice] the harpersimon is not quite right. In VagCat.com the numbers in the drawings refer to the part numbers next to them in the descriptions section. The actual description of the part is always below the part number. The first line is generally a descriptor of the page in general and part numbers with no corrosponding number in the picture are generally bits that can't be pictorially represented.
Some times there are parts in the picture with no number beside them. These parts are catalogued in another section and are there for visual reference.
