Bit late in the response but just found this post. I'm the infamous Spinner who is the UK sole agent for PES Tuning supercharger kits

Firstly, I want to clear up Adrian's concern regarding the 'extra strain on the gearbox'...
The PES Supercharger systems is a result of over 2 years of design and road testing using data logging software. Our vehicles are tested under a wide variety of driving conditions ranging from "easy" daily commutes to severe track conditions. We also test our systems in a broad range of temperatures, from bitter winter cold to blazing summer heat. Testing is also conducted using both Dynojet and Mustang dynamometers. We are so confident in the reliability of the system that we offer a one year, unlimited mileage warranty.
This kit is now 5 years in production, there have been many installs across the world without a single gearbox or any other OEM component failure (that we are aware of) that could attributed to the supercharger gains.

Secondly, we've just recently installed had a A8 4.2 Multi Port (D3) kit installed by TE Motorsport in Norway and we have another going in over the next few weeks by AmD Essex / DNA Tuning (this is a trade car). Below is a short video supplied by TE Motorsport, a snap of the engine bay and dyno chart gains 475hp (+140) and 425lb-ft torque (+123).

We also have a kit for the A8 4.2 FSI (D4) that has previously produced gains of 500hp (+155) and 457lb-ft torque (+133), however over the last year we've upped from 5psi to 7psi on this kit producing 524hp on an S5 (my car which has the exact same FSI engine), again with total reliability. Below is a dyno plot for the 5psi kit.
