Default Cheapest, most reliable bluetooth and iPOD through RNS-D?

Probably been asked a thousand times! I thought MKoneman had installed a Dension300, but can't find the thread: I do remember seeing the iPod on a sliding piece in the armrest (Tyresmoke?), but I have seen lots of bad press about Densions and interference (constant whine when iPOD plugged in).
I also want to run my bluetooth phone (currently Blackberry curve, but have a few Nokias knocking about the house) through the RNS-D. Dension 300 with a Bluetooth dongle seems like the best route.
What are people's experiences of this setup and does anyone have a better suggestion for integrating iPOD and 'phone through my 02 S8?

I have a roof-mounted mic in situ (last owner removed the rest of the phone install 'cos it was ugly!) and have a yellow wire in the expected place on the connector.
Any advice appreciated..
