Its not great news is it, wife now into the 40% tax bracket, lost out big time on child benefit (losing main one anyway as oldest wont qualify beyond July),cant afford the extra stamp duty so probably lost the deposit on the new £2m pad we were planning to retire to as well
, not to mention the extra fuel duty, off to look for a Kia Picanto
