My thoughts on the Hybrid A8, I may be nuts but I think they did it all wrong. A 53hp electric motor??? hardly worth putting in there. They should have taken note of a technology thats been around for ages, diesel-electric. Worked in locomotives just fine for almost 100 years. Diesel (or petrol) engine just acts like a generator, and powerful electric motors do the work. No gearbox, so that 160kg saved right there, to use for batteries and other stuff.
