Not sure how I feel about this. It is always reassuring to have a MOT certified mechanic cast an eye over my old car just incase I miss anything. Another good point to old cars having MOTs is that when you come to sell them an MOT gives prospective buyers an indication of what condition the vehicle is in.

I can just imagine next year when all the old barn stored cars come out of hiding and return to the road without having been checked over thoroughly by a qualified person. I might be wrong but I think this could bite the government on the bum
