I did a run from Bristol to London,upto Ambleside in the lakes,down to Stockport then back to Bristol the other weekend ,in total 700 miles from one tank,using shell v power diesel in a D3 3.0 tdi 54 plate.Not done the maths,but had to be near 40mpg,I guess
