Got the Vredestein's (prononced Vred-es-teen apparently - makes me think of Fred Astaire) fitted this weekend. What a difference. I've only done around 100 miles or so, but they are much, much quieter than the previous tyres and, coming in to work this morning, along rivers that used to be roads (we had of a lot of rain last night), they seemed much more sure-footed in the wet.
Not quite as quiet as David's S8 with the 18" wheels, but pretty close. |
Always thought it was prononced "stein" like Rick or Franken, maybe it's because it's Indian owned now and no longer Dutch
