Well this is what's inside. The reverse of the PCB is almost unused, just a handful of short tracks typically routing a group of (presumably) TV-related signals across something else.
The bottom left connector is the 4 TV aerials. Bottom right has TV on the left and radio on the right (my guess).
I'm also guessing that the chips are monitoring the TV signals and controlling some switches, you can see the 4 tracks converging into 1 in stages.
Couple of coils too, presumably for frequency filtering?
This "supports" my theory that this particular unit is an active diversity monitor switcher taking tv/radio input from 4 aerials and producing a single TV and single radio output.
But that makes no sense married with my 4-input TV tuner. 
Not clear where the power for the chips comes from, or what voltage it would be.

1998 D2 PF S8. Agate Grey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, Tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors.
e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course.  (internal dimming mirror added later)
1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon. Added Auto-dim mirror, Leather seats, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer.
And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!
