Dome house
Can't make my mind up on this, seems quite interesting idea and cheap and energy efficient, they even claim it's fireproof. Started off in Japan and there is company in Ukraine supplying 44 square meter house for $3500 and it can be erected in one day. I have to say if I had building plot I might be tempted to have couple of them linked together. Not sure if they meet UK regulations or if you could get planning permission.
