If I turn the map lights on, they light.

If I turn the front lights from 'doors open' setting to 'on' then the front AND rear light unit comes on, indicating there is at least power getting to the rear light unit - be interested if yours follows the same behaviour?
Adrian,

Just been out and had a play myself, and its exactly as you describe above. When I operate the front switch to the on position, all the lights come on including the centre one in the back.
