Well firstly thanks to Neil and Mike for organising another superb event. Our usual Romping Reporter has a severe case of RSI from stroking his recently fitted Alcantara Headlining and is currently finding it difficult to type more than a few lines. After a robust selection process, which lasted as long as it took for me to go the toilet I found myself in the role of Junior Romping Reporter
A few of us (Architex_mA8tey, Briang9 with Connor123, Daviesbike and Gninnam)
met up at the Premier Inn on Thurs and after a few drinks and a catch up went for dinner to David’s Brasserie. Apart from the near death “Roast Potato Incident”

the evening went without a hitch and great food, drink and general bonhomie was enjoyed by all. After some nosing around the cars in the darkened car park we then went back to the Premier Inn bar where more car bo**ox was talked and yet more Christmas spirit sampled before shuffling off to bed in the wee small hours.
The following morning we were joined by Conan The Librarian for an unfortunately voucher free breakfast

After breakfast we adjourned once again to the car park where as you can see more meaningful staring at each other’s cars passed some time before some of us went off in search of the now obligatory winter meet hand car wash operative. We found one attached to a used car lot which had an interesting (though not original) Mini for sale. We then returned to the hotel car park where we awaited the arrival of the others (TheBlueWhale, AWolfInSheepsClothes, MAM (with the Audi Exclusive interior

), TonUpKid and MagLite) to join us for lunch at Frankie and Benny’s. We strongly suspect that TheBlueWhale’s attendance at the meeting was considerably more expensive than the rest of us by the number of bags he and his family returned with from the nearby shops
Gninnam has taken advantage of the fact that his newly acquired D3 came complete with the Audi special edition “drug dealer” wheel upgrade to supplement his income and soon had a queue forming to exchange money for small packages, it was rumoured that the transaction captured by our “official photographer” of the day Connor123, involved small blue pills

, but this is unsubstantiated
After lunch we again returned to the Premier Inn for the official prize awards, the results of which were announced in an earlier post by Architex_mA8tey.
Some of us again stayed overnight at the Premier Inn and yet more food and drink were enjoyed whilst an overnight delivery of breakfast discount vouchers to our doors saved the day on Sat morning
Connor took many pictures with his new Camera from Santa which can be viewed if you really want or if you have trouble getting off to sleep
