i used this to enable a display for oil level in the car and systems part of the mmi .. only works if your car is fitted with the relivent oil level sensor in the sump. if you dont have it they are 89+vat from a tps ... just tell them its a 2009 D3 W12 and they work to give a display of oil level just like the battery level display
