Think it might just be the finish of the wood - the car would definitely benefit from a post-winter clean which I would aim to do before someone was coming to view. The wheels have been kept spotless but could do with taking off the car to clean behind the spokes. I'd happily eat my dinner off them as they are though.
Depends how much of a clean-freak he might be as if you actually use a car it's difficult to keep it as fresh as you'd like - once it's had a full weekend spent on it it'd be ready for shows etc.
I have a lot of photos of the car generally which he's welcome to view and I'm always happy to chat to someone seriously interested to save them a potentially wasted journey if it's not what they want.
