I went to Haddington a couple of weeks ago and looked at a car, it was without MOT and I made a silly offer and was told that it was not enough. Last week I was on holiday in a hot place when an email came in saying that he would accept my offer so yesterday I was off to Haddington again after a call to my MOT man to book the car in for a pass certificate

I collected the car and drove 100 miles back to the MOT station where the car was duly checked and passed with the same advisories as last year. Slight corrosion on the front brake pipes and slight play on a bottom balljoint.

Not surprising as it has only done 300 miles since it's last MOT
