Personally I wont touch ANY Renault with a barge pole since a few years ago, I had a brand new Company Laguna that broke down 14 times in 12 months (mostly electrical and dash issues) - they replaced the ECU 3 times and spent £6,800 on trying to resolve the issue but never got it properly solved and the last time it was in to the garage I had a loan car from them and put 10,000 miles on it as my car was away for so long lol They finally took it back and cancelled the lease and after much protesting paid me about £800 compensation for all the hassle and cancelled trips it had caused over that period 
It wasn't even the car breaking down that was the issue so much as Renault UK's poor response in dealing with it and refusal to take it back despite me requesting it in writing several times!
