Second, I've got Bluetooth on my XcarLink and it works well both for music and phone. Usual limitations on phone reception if the handset is inside the car with no external aerial, but for "occasional/emergency" use (which is all I really need) it's easier than a fully-fitted car kit.
I ran the microphone lead up to near the sunroof switches; it's not the best but "adequate".
My main phone is an older Nokia (not a smartphone) and pairs fine. I have (for work use, not when driving the S8) an iPhone and out of interest tried that, it was quite iffy about pairing up properly, but I also have WiFi problems (losing networks) with it so maybe it's on the way out.....

I do like the Xcarlink but would prefer seeing something in the dis if possible.
I'm on the look out for MFSW as well.
