Default That's better!

On my last MOT (and at the service before that) I had an advisory for the upper suspension control arms, so I decided to bite the bullet and replace all 8 arms and the stabiliser links.

I got the parts from these guys: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...:X:RTQ:GB:1123 who were very helpful, took my registration number and promised to get me the right kit (the S8, apparently, has one of the arms different to the A8).

The car feels brilliant and as tight as a duck's rear orifice! It's stopped shuddering on braking and it skips over the many potholes on my way to work without so much as a twitch. The whole front end feels like new.

BUT - unfortunately 2 of the arms were the wrong ones and had to be ordered from Audi (ouch!) and the excessive hand brake travel that I asked A4 Audi to look at required a new caliper (ouch again!).

The bill was horrible!

But the car feels great!
