The
alternative plan would be to leave her at the hotel while you go the the Ring for a few laps, and then come back for dinner together. It's actually only a 45 minute drive (on your own...) and a very nice drive in it's own right. When I did this a couple of years ago, I called ahead when I was leaving the Ring, ordered my meal, and it arrived just after I got back. So everyone was happy
If you
do go there, I recommend their own house white - it's very good, and ridiculously cheap, so well worth bringing back a few cases!
