I did the double din symphony to RNS-D almost a year ago, it was a straight swap with some additional wiring needing to be done in order to get the canbus to the cluster, plus a TMC module. I got both from Ranj when he was selling them, and two wiring looms from ebay. Then it was a simple coding job. In my case at least, I did seem to have a gala signal since everything just worked perfectly and still does today.
