Cream and grey interiors aren't as desirable as black, but it looks like it might have the fairly rare extended leather and alcantara roof pac - Worth mentioning if so.
No mention of cambelt change in the advert either, that may turn away some punters as it should have had 2 by now (every 7 years/80K).
If it wern't xmas, assuming the cambelt isnt due, you'd probably get somewhere in the region of 2500 - 2750 for it I guess with standard wheels and suspension, but xmas is a tricky time to move cars on. Pricing it at £2999 would bring it into the search filters of those folks using '3000' as their upper limit, although I appreciate this is under your target sale price.
Keep the new wheels and coilovers though, you should get good money for those seperately. Coilovers for D2s are always in demand. Leaving them on the car will more likely devalue it to most people.
I hope you find this info constructive and helpful, we've had a number of users trying to sell their PF S8's before on here, Ebay, autotrader, pistonhead, you name it, and history has shown that it doesnt really matter how much money you've spent on it, anything prefacelift priced over 3K doesnt usually get a look in unfortunately...
Cheers, Ian

I do see you're point mate as far as pricing is concerned and to be honest this side of me moving into my flat , if someone offered me £3k i'd probably take it . However

i beg to differ if you don't mind sir , i'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for and that people will pay a little bit more for something thats better than the rest , i work around the classic car industry and i've seen customers of mine pay thousands above what they should to get the car that they want.
At the end of the day the ebay listing is set to accept any offer £3200 or over , so is someone looking for a good S8 really going to go and buy the **** one with ropey paintwork and ripped seats just to save themselves £200 , i'm not so sure , would you ?
P.S the cambelts were done , and the original suspension comes with it ..... must put that on the ad asap
