Well folks, I am due to be up in Skye that weekend with one of the other 'beasties' (cars, not family ... although!) so I am trying to sort things out so I can at least nip down and see the cars together (what is the collective noun for a group of A8/S8s?!). I'll probably not know for sure until nearer the time. Would be a pity to miss it as it is practically on my doorstep!
Speaking of beasties, being the summer (ha!) and the West Coast of Scotland, you will need to keep an eye open for the dreaded midgie! Not long after I passed my test, I had my first 132 2000 up in Skye and made the mistake of leaving the windows open when I was out taking pictures (of the car, of course). I got back in and looked in the mirror and saw the inside of the back window full of the little blighters! Not much fun! Just something to bear in mind!
