well , I retreat from france in the winter , too cold for me [ I live at the north of languedoc rousillon ]

with regard to lpg costings , the combined consumption on an A8 3.3 diesel is about 10 litres / 100Km [ incidentally , the same as my gently driven motorhome ]

a 3.7litre 230bhp A8 is about 13 ltres , and on lpg that would probably increase to 15 litres at worst ; however as lpg is roughly half the price of petrol , cost wise it would be like 7.5 litres
