you can also register your car on myaudi.com , put in the VIN number and you'll get all the details for the car.
Works for my D3, and also gives 90% info for the D2, in fact I found out the D2 is setup for auto dim external mirrors as well but these have obviously failed in the past and been replaced with standard items.
