As for the "test drive", I wouldn't be surprised at all. My mate had his RS4 in for a headlamp washer repair at an Audi main dealer and it had another 50 miles on the clock when he collected it!! He went ballistic but they denied taking it out, despite the evidence?!?

I always take a pic of the mileage and date/time on my phone when I drop the car off for work - pretty difficult to argue with that as evidence, although I'm sure a dealer would have a damn good try!
