It is very common and that's what I put in Audi Driver.
It will be dramatically reducing power at lower revs and responce from pull away.
Dead easy to swap tho, just one pipe to it and one securing nut (next to vac pipe feed in). You can't buy just the connecting bar from Audi unfortunately.

The write-up Ben mentions above was from my car... unfortunately that wasn't the only problem with my car. To Ben's credit he is still working on it though.
