Multiple Faults including transmission
having run VCDS for the first time since February (when it was faultless), I have a number of fault codes some of which are a bit worrying:
The main issue is:
Address 02: Auto Trans Labels: 01L-927-156.lbl
Part No: 4D0 927 156 EC
Component: AG5 01L 4.2l5V RdW 1010
Coding: 00101
Shop #: WSC 02314
VCID: 6ED8DF392A5A996E79B-5102
3 Faults Found:
18232 - Pressure Control Valve 3 (N217)
P1824 - 35-10 - Open or Short to Ground - Intermittent
18227 - Pressure Control Valve 2 (N216)
P1819 - 35-10 - Open or Short to Ground - Intermittent
18222 - Pressure Control Valve 1 (N215)
P1814 - 35-10 - Open or Short to Ground - IntermittentI checked against RossTech Wiki and it points towards "checking connectors for corrosion or water damage, in case of 01V transmission pay special attention to 16-pin connector between valve body and wiring harness".
Other faults (apart from the alarm horn - longstanding and a rear parking sensor) are:
Address 15: Airbags Labels: 4D0-959-655-AI8.lbl
Part No: 4D0 959 655 T
Component: Airbag Front+Kopf 5001
Coding: 01417
Shop #: WSC 02313
VCID: 438E5E8D51584406C65-5102
1 Fault Found:
00532 - Supply Voltage B+
07-10 - Signal too Low - Intermittent
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Address 17: Instruments Labels: 4D0-919-033-MYX.lbl
Part No: 4D0 919 931 PX
Component: KOMBI+WEGFAHRS.VDO D42
Coding: 00483
Shop #: WSC 00048
VCID: 902421C1D0AE6F9E8B7-5102
WAUZZZ4D43N001316 AUZ7Z0A2019945
1 Fault Found:
00668 - Supply Voltage Terminal 30
53-10 - Supply Voltage Too Low - Intermittent
Wiki says that if multiple control modules are affected it could be a common source such as battery.
Appreciate any comments/suggestions here - especially with the transmission faults.
