Default Cable from parcel shelf into boot

My A8 D3 is going to be out of use for 4 weeks.

I have a parasitic battery drain where if the car is left the battery slowly runs down, I have a cunning plan to keep the battery topped up whilst the car is not in use (well I think I do).

My plan is to buy one these

and place it on the rear deck and run the cable somehow to the battery terminals. I don't think the 12V socket in the interior will work because the battery module may stop the power getting to the battery.

So the question, is there an easy route from the rear deck to the boot that does not involve to much disassembly (I dont have the ski hatch).
