Seen a similar video about the windows and was really impressed with it.

I'm programming keys at the moment for the Wife's Leon and my mates A3. Not as sophisticated as the 8 but it shows you how the immobilizer basically works and it needs programing.

If they got all the kit they can do it, but then that's more expensive than your average D3 is worth.

I hang my car key around the dog's neck. Like to seem try and get the car key off the GSD/Collie cross.

I don't. all keys are put normally put away out of site of anything one looking through the window and close to use at night.


reading some of these threads and the ideas that people have for securing their car from being stolen by electronic hacking has ranged from ODB switches to turn off the plug, ODB port cage to secure it, relocating the port, fuel pump kill switch and the good old crook lock.
