I had ago at this yesterday and failed.
I was kind of rushing to do it between rain showers.
I've decided to do it via the switch. Mainly because I got the needed plugs and cable to do it.
I followed what jza said and connect the Green wire to 86, ground to 85.
This caused the boot to closed.
I used 2 and 3 from the switch plug.
Reading on he said pins 2 and 3 from the switch should go to 30 and 87.
So I put pins 1 and 4 to 86 and 85 and nothing happened.
I was wet and gave up.
I'll have another look later.
