I phoned up prestigemotorservices.co.uk and managed to get a spare circuit board with the leds on it for just over £70 incl postage so I'm happy about that.

Yes I replaced all 24 LEDs recently on the left rear light. Very simple soldering job if you have any experience in soldering
You need to buy "strawhat" type LEDs.
