A8 2006 onwards was MP3 CD compatible.
There are basically 2 models first one ends 111 and is not MP3, the latter ends 110 and is. Another way to check is if your car has the MEDIA button on the MMI console.
It is widely thought that cars with the MEDIA button are MP3 capable.
