To be fair, the valuation was from one of those cherished plate companies and as I thought at the time, it's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I suppose there might be someone out there who would use one of those companies that produce non-standard plates with strange fonts and use strategic fixings to make the T resemble an I, but we'd never do that of course, being law abiding citizens

I'll check and see who quoted that price and let you know Keith. If you're keen (being told ) to get your own plate on it may be worth letting them try to sell it for you. There are more A8 owners than those on this forum and the members on here have usually already got what they want anyway.
