My passenger side did exactly the same - slow steady leak. As it was the pax side i just replaced it with a heated non dimming one from our sponsors. I took the failed mirror apart and cleaned it up and, to be honest, its clean enough to re-install - though, obviously without the dimming fluid. It would be fine except the black plastic trim around the mirror had cracked (thats why the fluid drained out) and the I lost a small piece which had somehow broken off
