Spoke to Audi and they seem happyish to right a report explaining what is wrong with the front brake pad sensor and anything else, if there is.
The tension on the sensor cables makes me think there is.

I checked the receipts and it looks like the front pads and discs was replaced by Halfords in August last year.

I'm not sure if I'll have a leg to stand on trying to get them to correct the issue or even if its worth for the price of two new sensors and 30mins of work.
