Indeed, there are, I was looking at a few last night.
The only issue is this - how much more reliable would any of these be, compared to Ginnam's broken A8? A £500 car could last for 10 years with just service / maintenance issues.
Or it could go bang a month later, then he'll be back to square 1. I believe older D2's are best for wrenchers, or those who may have friendly garages to cater for their needs.
For a non-techie, a newer car, or a late D2 with a solid warranty is the way to go.
