Morning Tristan
Bloody hell, that's unfortunate and weird, but on the other it is possible that both of them were sold as spares because of the sensor fault as you said.
I'm guessing buying a working one is not the best option right now if you are not completely sure if this is the faulty sensor it self.
Another obvious I think option would be taking off the handle from the working side and plugging it in on the faulty side and see if that works.
I guess there is quiet a lot of work involved in replacing the handle?
This probably is crazy, but if there is a lot involve then maybe you could make a quick harness with one female and one male connector on each end and just wire the faulty side harness to the working harness. A bit crazy I know.
How about checking the voltage??
Will PM you soon Tristan
