For the first time I have actually managed to be a bit of a git bargaining over the phone so They are prepared to sell at a reasonable price. Talking to insurance companies has de humanised me . Being able to quote accurate trade prices, model history, service requirements, known foibles and offer hard cash helps.

I would feel guilty but if I'm going to be shafted then I'm sharing the joy.
