hold on a second, i was under the impression that i would lose the DIS info from the Media side, i didn't think of the Nav side as i don't use it here....now under this new shade of info i might just look for an RNS-E then...you're killing me guys
i've managed to source an RNS-D in Netherlands for 220Eur including shipping to Abu Dhabi, seems like a good deal.
@delboy - it is DIS compatible according to the manufacturer, i have been exchanging emails with the dealer which is based in Belgium so he was very easy to deal with and also very honest regarding its capabilities. If it wasn't for the lack of compatibility with BOSE system i would've bought it in a blink
