I am going to retain the changer, why I hear you ask. I still buy a lot of CDs when out shopping, and if I am out on the road will buy the odd one when I feel like a change. Wihout the changer I'd have no way of playing it.

I don't intent to use the AMI with an iPhone or IPod, it will have a USB HDD plugged in with the music ripped at a decent bit rate, not sure if the AMI can play FLAC encoded files which most of my music collection is.
