'Everything' on the D3 seems to have permanent 12v and goes to sleep/power-saving some time after ignition is switched off by way of a CAN command. There is a low power
wake up signal from the CAN gateway to start them up again.
I too would like to find a switched 12v in the boot, but it doesn't seem to exist.
