Also consider one of these if you have a TV module fitted. You can velcro it under the sat nav DVD and take power from the adjascent fuses or cigar lighter.
I leave it on 24/7 without a problem and the car broadcasts the SSID: Audi_MMI_6810 (last 4 digits of VIN) just like the newer Audis do.
(You may also need to add the aux-in cable to the TV module)

This gizmo changed my car music life to the extent that I sold one of the the CD/MP3 changers in the glovebox as I doubt I will use it again. I only kept one of them to keep the car as it should be for SW updates and owner's manual CD-ROM.

All I do now is switch to AUX 1 and then back to NAVI or whatever and then I can choose the music on my phone (or cloud/internet radio) with Siri voice commands. It plays via Airplay ad-hoc wifi which is better quality than bluetooth.
The quality of Apple Music streaming servce is better than the 320k mp3s in the CD changer - maybe due to a better, more modern DAC? It doesn't interfer with the bluetooth pairing for calls and also the phone will MUX audio from Waze navigation and other such apps with the music.

It also works with the audio from streaming video such as BBC News and I can put the phone on the ashtray and watch that while waiting for my good lady or whatever. I did used to have a Kivic-one that streamed the video too, but was very hit and miss with newer versions of hardware and sofware, but I believe better alternatives are available if you did want video too. e.g.

I have only tried my NEET with my iPhone, but assume Android is similar?
