Default Knocking/Rumbling when turning left - any ideas?

I am getting a knocking/rumble which I can feel coming through the floor when I turn left or change lane toward the left from the O/S wheel area

I've changed the CV joint (CV boot was split) - no change.

Changed the track rod ends - they were worn but its not fixed it.

levered all the ball joints in sight to see if they're slack or have wear on them.

I've put the wheel back on the hub without drive shaft or caliper fitted and cannot feel any play, rumble or anything wrong with the wheel bearing, it will spin away for 5 mins after spinning it up by hand.

I get the feeling there is something wrong with the subframe or lower control arms where they join the car under your feet while driving - any body got any ideas?
