HPI checks

Hi looking to get a damaged repairable car.
1 when you HPI a car does it tell or give you the insh report of the damage?
as i know the car will have damage, and where it is. Just wondered if a check would tell you, if it needs jigging, or suspenion out of line.
As the salvage yards, always say yer, it just needs a wing bonnet and bumper. When really it might need alot more.

2 is there another way to find this info out, other than HPI, possibly free.
as im looking whats around.
Steve has always picked up good deals, but yet he knows what to look for. Problem is tho he works away alot and if i find somthing i need to get straight onto it, or someone beats me to it.
If HPI is just going to say its Cat D or X, i will already know and see that.
Been told there is somthing like HPI but free for the trade but cant find info on it.
