Go to the '3' shop and get a MiFi for 20 quid a month with a 15Gb allowance.. It'll charge off a ligher socket and away you go.

Regardless of install this will be network dependant on quality of connection and level of coverage wherever you are.

Depending on your model are there not reception problems inside the vehicle?
I know with my "double glazed" S8 phone reception for my passengers is generally rubbish, so I still maintain (with a separate PAYG sim card) the integrated ancient Nokia 3110 phone so that family can get in touch if necessary while on the move. An integrated system with an external aerial will work better, especially in marginal areas, and of course provide a professional "business class" service. Whether it's cost-effective or not is another question. ![]()

I just switch on "WiFi hotspot" feature on the phone if I need internet on the move for laptop.
