Default Petrol Smell

Had a petrol smell for the last few days after using the A8.

Tracked it down to the fuel filter, which was replaced 3 weeks ago when it was serviced. After the car is driven, and the system is under pressure fuel leaks out as the filter is covered in petrol. The place that did the service is closed today which is really annoying.

As I have no access and limited tools, is there anything I can do without ramps to check or shall I wait for the garage to call. I'd be effectively running blind trying to fix it.

Mine also appears to be missing its cover, but it looks like its been missing for sometime based on the crap that is down there.
