4.2TDI radiator fan running constantly
I returned home after a week away and my car has developed an issue, basically the radiator fan is running constantly and continues to run for about 30 seconds after I stop the engine.
A quick scan revealed the following code: Code:
Address 01: Engine Labels: Redir Fail! Control Module Part Number: 4E1 910 409 A HW: 4E1 907 409 Component and/or Version: 4.2L V8TDI G000AGMª0070 Software Coding: 0011773 Work Shop Code: WSC 00503 503 81333 VCID: 22400330FD210608171 1 Fault Found: 006400 - Coolant Fan Control 2 P1900 - 001 - Open or Short to Ground |

Could it be caused by low battery voltage?

Sounds like a short in fan control module. Happens to lot of VAG cars across the range.

Well as suggested it was the fan/control module (4E0 959 455 H), replaced with a new one and all back to normal
