I happen to have 3 back bumper lowed unpainted plastic parts.
One is on the car
The other 2 I bought for a twin-exhaust project, the plan is to combine the exhaust slots from both bumpers into one. I am almost ready to do this, when finished, I wont need the original back bumper plastic piece that's on my car. If you can wait 3-4 weeks I would be happy to sell it to you. I paid a breaker £70 for the lower plastic piece.
Although there are potentially better deals out there, check out ebay there's a complete one on there current bid £20, you can always throw away the top painted part.

thanks for that goran , will have a look on Ebay ; £20 sounds livable ! I presume PF and FL bottom bits are the same

I thought PF and FL lower unpainted rear bumper were the same but the parts numbers seem to indicate the PF version is a single piece?

well , I missed the one on the isle of weight and it looks like it's good I did from what you posted ; there was another in bucks , also gone , advertised as PF and it was all in silver and looked one piece !

so thanks goran

strangely , for the FL , there are 2 parts with the same number , one with colour not defined , the other with a suffix to the number defined as satin black which I think is what mine must be called

PF is all one, however it is a separate part when manufactured. Its sort of pastic welded by melting the tabs on the inside. It could be removed but not as simple as unclipping / bolting.

thanks , solves the mystery !
I have been looking at other PF ad's and it looks like a separate part , but as it is welded on the bumper is only sold as an assembly !

no doubt you could separate it , but how then to fix it on ? could the later fixings be used ?

since posting , I decided to get out and get under , the top and bottom parts on mine have matching flanges and are held together with plastic plugs through pre molded holes ; does the PF have those flanges ? and are they completely welded together or easier to separate ; if the flanges are the same why on earth were the bit welded together ? couldn't see any tabs to be welded

well , further update ; been looking at Ebay USA , someone selling the one piece assembly with photos inside and out , but both top and bottom are different with no flange so I don't see where the tabs come in , just a straight weld

as alice said , curiouser and curiouser !

had a look at the german prices for a new part ...over £100 for a black one
but they also have another one ....chrome ; at half the price !

anyone seen that on a D2 ? the only thing I can think of is that it is used on a VW , and VW owners only get charged half the price that audi owners do !
