That article looks really interesting. Trouble is I can't get much off Tyresmoke. They have those horrible things you have to type in to ensure that you are not a machine, that I can't read. Theirs truly defeat me.
Plus when I attempted registering there, I had to ask for help (cos of the above) and they changed my moniker to bumupkid or something equally hilarious, that I won't be using  I've tried getting this corrected but never get a reply from them. Actually Tyresmoke has ****ed me off, they're pretty much completely unfriendly and unhelpful in my experience. Upshot. Any chance of posting readable copy here, or somewhere other than TS. Please

cooool, ive seen that car running on a few accasions now out at Le Mans.
Is it the same 40v V8 that is found in a D2 S8, or is it the later one that is found in RS4s and R8s? a friend, and ex B7 RS4 owner was saying the other day that our engines bear almost no resemblance, is that right?

4.2 differences
yes the spyker lemans engine is using the exact engine block from our '99-'02 s8's.
